About NGF
The Nordic Gerontological Federation (NGF) was founded 1974 as an
umbrella organization for the gerontological and geriatric
organizations in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The main
purpose of NGF is to support and encourage research, developmental work
and education within gerontology and geriatrics. This is fulfilled
through the organizing of biannual Nordic gerontological congresses,
through
news and information distribution and through other initiatives. Read
